WANDERING AROUND PAGKRATI
Το Παγκράτι είναι από τις αγαπημένες μου γειτονιές στην Αθήνα. Έχει μια αυθεντικότητα, μια αλλόκοτη ομορφιά, μια ιδιαίτερη κουλτούρα. Κάθε φορά που τριγυρίζω στους μικρούς του δρόμους, ανακαλύπτω και κάτι καινούριο και αυτό με κάνει να θέλω να τριγυρίζω στο Παγκράτι όλο και πιο συχνά.
Έτσι συνέβη και σήμερα. Με σοβαρό κίνητρο το πολύ γευστικό, χειροποίητο τσουρέκι από το ζαχαροπλαστείο "Lido", ξέχασα το τσουχτερό κρύο και... ξεμύτισα!
Διάλεξα να φορέσω κάτι κομψό με κλασικά στοιχεία παράλληλα, γιατί νομίζω ασυνείδητα, ήθελα να θυμίζω τις καλοντυμένες κυρίες αυτών των αστικών συνοικιών, που βγαίνουν το πρωί να κάνουν τα ψώνια τους.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα. επέλεξα ένα τόταλ κοτλέ look σε μωβ-μελιτζανί χρώμα από το ελληνικό brand Uniforme (facebook, instagram, βρείτε τα επίσης στα καταστήματα matchbox). H midi φούστα σε συνδυασμό με το πουκάμισο μου πρόσφεραν ζεστασιά και παράλληλα θηλυκότητα.
Όσο για την τσάντα μου, νομίζω έκανα την τέλεια επιλογή μιας και πέρα από το ιδιαίτερο σχήμα της (εμπνευσμένο από την ίριδα του ματιού), έχει και το ιδανικό μέγεθος για βόλτα. Ανήκει στο επίσης ελληνικό brand, kalpiko radiki (facebook, instagram). Είναι δερμάτινη, χειροποίητη και τα χρώματά της θυμίζουν την ελιά και τα φύλλα της. Σίγουρα έκανα την τέλεια επιλογή.
Ολοκλήρωσα το outfit με καρό μακρύ παλτό για να δώσω περισσότερο χρώμα στο look και λουστρίνι μποτάκι για λίγη λάμψη.

Pagrati is one of my favorite “barrios” in Athens. It has an authenticity, a weird beauty, a unconventional culture. Every time I am wandering around its little streets, I discover something new and this is what makes me keep wanting walking around Pagrati more and more often.
This also happened today. Seriously motivated by the extremely tasty, handmade tsoureki from patisserie “Lido”, I totally forgot about the cold and…sneaked out.
I chose to wear something elegant with classic elements at the same time, because I think unconsciously, i wished to look alike the well-dressed ladies of these urban districts, who use to come out in the morning to do their shopping.
More specifically, I went for a total cord look in dark purple color made by the Greek brand Uniforme (facebook, instagram, find it also in matchbox stores). The midi skirt combined with shirt offered me a great deal of warmth and femininity alongside.
As for my bag, I believe I made the best choice since except for its special design (inspired by the iris of the eye), it has also the ideal size for a walk. It belongs to the also Greek brand, kalpiko radiki.( facebook, instagram). It is leather, handmade and its colors resemble mole and olive leaves. For sure I made the right choice.
I completed my outfit with a checkered, multicolor, long coat just to give some color in my look and patent leather ankle boots for some glow.
